Democracy and free speech are in my view positively essential in the world 🌎  having operated in countries that don’t work under this system, and I am only too pleased to have had the opportunity to bring the pavilion fiasco to public attention.  I have gathered so much support from others who ❤️ Penarth, the pavilion, the pier and is people: it’s parks and all that makes it a very special little town by the sea.

I have met fantastic individuals young and, young in heart and mind, and will see this mission and vision through to ensure we get a public enquiry and those needing to be held to account or named and shamed or put in the stocks, are brought to account: to the people in Penarth and around who donated to the lottery pot of £4 million plus.

We have a new integrated tourism vision for Penarth and have given this to the General Manager of the Vale for review which includes proper care and fit for purpose management of the pavilion and review of wellbeing event plans.

We await a meeting to discuss how to drive economic benefit and a new way of managing certain services in our town and introduce new events.

Penarth ltd is proposed a community company should have responsibility of the marketing and business development and promotion of Penarth, with professional people with relevant and best practise experience from the private sector because we all love ❤️ Penarth and need to protect it; however utilise certain of it’s public buildings more effectively to drive revenues to them from others. The pavilion is one of the jewels too important to be left in hands that don’t appear to know left from right, to be able to openly communicate and damage the morale and reputation of those of us who are doing our civic duty. We are dedicated to the cause and doing all posdible – even the impossible some may say.

This should be a public private sector initiative.

We are after all  … all together better and for me I feel much better for having done what I have done re the pavilion; to protect our national heritage, our asset for the  future and current wellbeing of people living here and visiting here.

So PACL stop bullying, stop miscommunicating, stop hiding as we that ❤️ Penarth are not going away. Stand up and be counted. Be accountable all you “great and good ” That remains to be seen with the Ombudsman for Wales.
